i like the cover.
it wont be released on vinyl though, so i'm not sure if i
should buy it. spending money on plastic disks that lose all
information within 20 years and dont sound 2 good, aint fun.

nice cover, look for it, a lot of stuff is still pressed on
vinyl these days...

"Boards of Canada have contributed a remix of the track
"Black Space" to Beck's forthcoming album "Guero", due for
release on March 29th.

The remix will appear on the special edition version bonus
disc alongside other mixes by Dizzee Rascal, Octet and
Royksopp, plus videos and 5.1 versions.".warprecords.com

cds don't sound as good as vinyl... hahaha... ok,
whatever...

i just hope this one isn't anything like midnight vultures -
that record was shit.

it depends on what you are looking for in sound. for sure,
cds sound clean, no crackling noises etc, but on vinyls
there's simply more sound information and you hear that,
more dynamics in the first place. i have some albums on both
cd and vinyl and there are HUGE differences when it comes to
Bass.

the guero song i heard, HELL YES, was really good. with
hiphop beats, scratchings, loops and laid-back vocals about
djing and a sexy female voice saying "please enjoy".
odelay-style.

i saw beck live during his sea change tour. he made jokes
and was accompanied by a drum-computer from the 80s. he said
"I'M SORT OF A ONE-MAN BAND. BUT I'VE GOT SOME ASSISTANCE.
THIS IS MY DRUMMER. ... HIS NAME IS ROLAND ... HE'S FROM
JAPAN." the schauspielhaus was laughing.

you'd think with dvda, there would be at least two in the
package, but there's only one little one... at least it was
relatively cheap.

I love the dialogue in the end between the robot and the
female voice/beck in the Ghetto Malfunction version of Hell
Yes :

BeckRobot : "Yeahhdrgrpmgrpmgrg"
Robot :"grpmgprgpmrpgm"

BeckRobot : "Yes"
Robot : "Yes"

Female voice : "Hi"
Robot : "Hi"

Female voice : "I like your bass"
Robot : "I like your bass"

Female voice : "Your beat is nice"
Robot : "Your beat is nice"

Beck : "Yeah that's it"
Robot : "Yeah that's it"

BeckRobot : "Yes"
Robot : "Biatch!"

Another case of "WTF!" by Beck :)
