Is caffeine put in coke on purpose? If not, where does it
come from? Do they have to tell you on the label if a
product contains caffeine? Normally I have to avoid anything
caffeined up in the evening because it keeps me awake and I
already am a bad sleepster. But lots of people drink coffee
at the end of a meal and then go to bed and sleep like logs.
I can't do that. If i drink coffee in the mornings it wakes
me up but I feel really odd, kind of hollow if that makes
sense... does anyone get that? If I drink coke in the
morning it doesn't wake me up at all, but if I drink it at
night I can't get to sleep.

I used to work at a coffee shop that had the most powerful
drinks. It was heavy duty stuff. I'd drink it all day. I'd
take like a 3 esspresso shot ice drink at the start of the
day. Just to deal with people. Then I'd proceed to have tons
of other caffeinated shit. I'd go home and fall asleep. I
got used to it. Some how my body built up a tolerance.

I read in national geographic that they use the caffeine
extracted from decaf coffee for other stuff.

I cant did you know caffeine is actually addictive by
roughly the same mechanism that cocaine is? Caffeine
inhibits the enzyme in the brain which causes you to sleep i
think its quite interesting probably I dont really know much
about it. quite often on a saturday or sunday morning when I
have been drinking i really need coke but I thought it was
for some sugar but i bought sugar free coke and it worked
and alos I tried that gold coke with no caffiene which
tastes funny and you dont really see it that often these
days but that worked too strange isnt it it 4am

I thought they just bread the caffiene out of the coffee, or
roasted it to a point it fully evaporated...
