not in everything though. in advertising yeah, definitely... (especially ads for lingerie - understandable but no, it's trickery, you won't look like the girl in the ad because you wear the same underwear, you won't look like the guy in the ad because you wear the same underwear!)... when i'm taking the tramway to go to university early in the morning and when there are "erotising" ads in the street, it can help me waking up a little though which is not a bad thing. : ) haven't seen any gratuitous sexual innuendos in the news yet. : ) gratuitous panty shots/"fan service" in manga and anime is so annoying/such a bore after a while, i really appreciate it when there isn't any. come on, if you want to show sex it's ok (except for your stupid censorship), but i prefer 1/2 page of real sex rather than 100 pages of stupid panty shots which doesn't lead to anything except bore... which other shows do i watch sometimes? hmm... the simpsons... south park (though i usually miss it when it airs -_-)... documentaries about stuff... i don't watch mtv (um, i don't have mtv actually (!) but mcm which is pretty much the same i guess) but my brother watches it sometimes until i hit him on the head with a chainsaw to make it stop because the music annoys me (and of course lots of videos in it can be labelled as sexist, especially the mainstream crap "r'n'b"/rap - hate it). i don't watch sitcoms but again my brother likes to watch friends which annoys me to death and is full of sexual references all the time, which doesn't make it any better. oh well. random picture time! |
