ok, i think i said a lot more than that... i'd caution you to be wary of the verb, "to be." "are" you the devil? i don't think the devil "is". more accurately, the devil "seems." any observation you make in this world, i recommend you avoid thinking in terms of what "is." instead of "that is ugly," observe "that seems ugly." instead of "there are monsters outside my window," try "i seem to observe monsters outside my window." i realize that i play fast and loose with "to be," nevertheless i do my best to communicate as simply, accurately and concisely as i can, but distortion is inevitable, the signal picks up a lot of static as it travels... |
