I like the David Lynch adaptation with the hissing bald
witches and Kyle Maclachlan stabbing Sting in a loincloth.
Hottt!

Oh no wait, the loincloth scene was earlier. Darn long term
homoerotic memory.

The books are great. The films are ok, but leave out vital
bits of the book, like the glossary in book 1!!
Ive read the first 4? books, the last one I read was where
leto II dies, and at the end a sandworm is taken off arakis.

anyway, they are great, the mixture of old and new is really
good, the concepts like spice and the guild, etc everything
fits together in a very pleasing way, much better than the
sad old star trek technology progression of other sci-fi
things

5 and 6 were a bit suckage to me, but maybe i shouldnt have
read all 6 in one row
the prequels are horrible
as the television series
fact: the vein plug is not in the book, but hella cool

fact: Duncan Idaho is the best character.

fact: The coolest line from the film is not in the book:
Guild navigator in tank-"We have just folded space from
Ix... many machines on Ix.... new machines"
