its funny to listen to the npr guy talk about it: "viktor vaughn is a scientist, and a rapper, who's travelling the cosmos, looking for the best places to practice his art. An intergalactic ban on hip hop has brought the frustrated vaughn to planet earth where a mechanical glitch in his time machine has left him marooned, so he's struggling to get home, and touring this planet's hip hop venues"

i've never heard that part before, it was interesting to hear... I thought Vaughn was just a rapper from the far future, whos time machine broke after he landed in modern day New York, so he decides to cut a record deal to earn some cash until he can get back to his own time.
