This guy is so fucking awesome. His album Neo-Geo is
fantastic. He's recently done some straight-up Bossa Nova
shit! His soundtrack to "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" is a
huge inspiration to me.

yes, he does have that dodginess about him.

only a small bit of his music is actually good, I think, the
rest is kind of cheesy and tasteless!

I saw some Sakamoto videos on AMP back when MTV still had
good shit. I thought they were stupid, though I'm still
