Don't buy "hoshi no ko", it's fucking dreadful. Up it's own
arse to the point of no return. His remix of roni size's
"brown paper bag" is awesome though.

animate is probably my favorite album by him, unfortunately
thrill jockey decided to release "10th" instead of animate
(which was a bad move on their part, i thought). animate is
only available through takemuras japanese label childisc im
afraid. fairly easy to download though. now other childisc
artists on the other hand....

then theres his stuff like scope or assembler or water's
suite, more on the noise/oval tip. scopes really good, and i
even like it a lot more than more recent oval.

child and magic has some cool stuff. it bridges the gap
between is earlier more jazz/pop oriented music like
"child's view" to his more experimental noise stuff. not
nearly as refined as say funfair, but still a cool album.

theres a lot to choose from. i suggest animate, scope, sign,
funfair

This probably sounds like blasphemy to most of you, but I
think Scope feels much more nostalgic than any Boards of
Canada I've heard.... which is why I would recommend that
release.... get it.
