I thought it was really good.. much better than OFOW which
lacked any true spark.

It's awesome, and will work even better in the context of
the game. It's a soundtrack, remember. Splinter Cell Pandora
Tomorrow had a very similar soundtrack, so this is the next
logical step.

And I agree Zammacks, OFOW was like that one Miles Davis
album, it kind of blew.

I'm so psyched for this game.

MGS or SC

what's the concensus?

Metal Gear Solid All the Way. MGS1 and MGS3 are probably my
two favorite games.

I played the first Splinter Cell all the way through. I
liked it but it doesn't compare to MGS. I liked Hitman a lot
better than SC. I bought the 2nd SC as well but only played
a board or two before I lost interest.

I'm really feelin' MGS3, almost done with it but when i'm
not playing it I'm thinking about the next chance i'll have
time to again. It's rather interesting, although I don't
know how i feel about the bosses "the end" the fear" etc,
kinda cheesy imo. Sick game though

I thought sc was real cool but the story was mediocre, just
your basic tactical espionage. (i had to have spelt that
wrong)

Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell are my two most
favoriteist series', but I'd take MGS any day. It's
beautiful and intense and hilarious and stupid and
brilliant, there's nothing else like them in the gaming
world or the movies. I appreciate Splinter Cell for the
''straight-to-the-point'' feel, it's almost the polar
opposite if you can look past the tiny similarities on the
surface. I don't need or want a big story in an SC game,
it's all about gameplay.

Despite the lack of drama in SC games, Sam Fisher is a truly
great character and Ironside is the best voice actor in the
business. Grumpy grizzled old vet done to perfexion.

there's an interview with Amon Tobin about this soundtrack
over at mp3.com, which I got referred to through
Gamespot.com

sometimes the internet is just so confusing.

Mr. Tobin has yet to fail me, but I made the mistake of
getting the Danny The Dog soundtrack by Massive Attack
instead ...
