i know the reviews were mixed but i was surprised to see "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" get totally snubbed. I mean, it is way better than fukkin "lemony Snickett' for art direction. and come on, "Phantom of the Opera" for cinematography? one is a remake of a remake of an opera and the other is a Tim Burton rip-off. But then, it is the Oscars...! |

how in hell is eternal sunshine not on there for best director or best visual effects? i mean for fucks sake, they used maybe 2 mintues of cgi in that movie, the rest is mind blowing camera trickerys. also, dawn of the dead should be on there for best make-up, the details in that movie are redic. |
