I've always been able to get terrific bass tones out of good
old Synth1. And the old reliable Three Osc instrument in
Reaktor can make some nice creamy vintage sounding bass
patches.

But in general for bass nothing beats a hardware synth. Is
it something about having more headroom in the preamp when
you run it into a mixer? I dunno, but it's always fatter
with a more intense knock in the gut that way.

junglist - good for subs and that

oddity - vst version of the old ARP favourate, interesting
analog sounds

theres loads more can't think now sorry
