I respect highly godataloss mentioning the mighty Loop,
Butthole Surfers and Helios Creed. Most of all for
mentioning Loop though.

Canadian stuff like 54:40, Hayden, Limblifter, Holly
McNarland, that stuff really brings me back. But not too far
because I'm not too old.

Heh, I put that single on my iPod the other day. The Meat
Beat Manifesto and Richie Hawtin remixes are still quite
good considering the horridness of the original : )

Gratzie Dog_belch and I too congratulate you on your
obviously descering taste and again curse the whore that
used my favorite Loop cd as an inscense burner- may her
labia foster a thousand strains of herpese!

Loop did foster the whole lush guitar sound a-la My Bloody
Valentine and a thousand less worthy successors

Hate to sound like an old phogey, but the early nineties had
much more quality music than today- electroic, rock, rap,
the birth of grunge and 'alternative'

I realize everything is derivative, but there hasn't been
anything truly innovative SINCE the early nineties.
