Whoops, the system RAM above is incorrect. The laptop
actually had 1GB of RAM.

Why do you say that?
I would be happy to answer any of your questions about the
laptop.

I hereby certify that I, qrter, was only joking with
my previous comment, which referred to the fact that
brokephones twice corrected himself within 2 minutes.

no harm was intended, be it on the level of thread- and/or
brokephones-existence.

Check out his own sales pitch :D!!!

Selected quote:

And for the record, the new model became available one
week after I placed my order for overheating shitbox I'm
using now.

That was what my brain remembered :D

The overheating problem has been fixed with a laptop cooler
addon.

I would not reccomend it for making music, but I have been
playing World of Warcraft, Half-Life 2, and Pirates!
regularly without any trouble and they have all run well.

Just don't use any audio programs because they honestly wont
run properly. (I have tried.)

The unit was $3,400 US when I bought it.

I fell prey to the shitty "desktop replacement' laptop thing
a couple years ago. The thing got so hot that the AC
adaptor plug melted and I ended up having to open it up and
crack the plastic bit out just to make power connect. Now I
have the ac adaptor held in with duct tape.
Sweet machine!

I am never buying a laptop again that isnt ibm/dell/mac
