Okay...I am going back to the actual subject of this
board....

I read somewhere "Melodies from Mars" was written with
"video games" in mind.
As to say it may have been composed for some game(s).

Anyone know what game this might have been or any
info?....Or is it false info?

Ahhhhhhh....What a great record.

Well, I truly believe I heard the nice little C64-like tune
of "Track 9" anywhere else...

Rumors said it's sampled off the arcarde game "Frogger"...
but I don't know for sure..

Ironlung/Sine707: Melodies From Mars [MFM] was written for a
video game company, it wanst called Melodies From Mars,
someone just gave it that name. He sent it into the company
and they rejected it.

i think the rumour that rich sent these tracks to a video
game company is shite. just outtakes to rdj lp given to a
select few.

The 11th track is one of my faves by Richard... really goofy
stuff.

It is music he sent into the game company, either that or
two companies are lyin' to all of us.

*rolls eyes*

They sound nothing like the RDJ album anyways, only Logon
Rock Witch. And even then.... read about it before you make
your strong opinion!

what two companies? warp and nintendo? i believe rich
wrote these tracks around the same time as rdj, hence there
are some similiarities between the two, with mfm being less
drill-n-bassy. fingerbib is also on there.

Fingerbib is on there? I thought I downloaded a fucked up
Mars... yeah, that song DOES fit in there, eh...
