The Mac mini looks tempting, but I still want a PowerBook
more.

i like the new ipod and its incredibly cheap, i'd be tempted
to get one if I hadn't got a 4G ipod already, also I like
being able to use this as a hard drive

HAHA :(

dunno whether to cry or laugh at this:
"Random is the New Order

Welcome to a life less orderly. As official soundtrack to
the random revolution, the iPod Shuffle Songs setting takes
you on a unique journey through your music collection —
you never know what’s around the next tune."

cry laughing i guess..

It's an excellent idea doing an iPod shuffle. I tend to bust
tunes at random anyways, so it would be excellent if I
didn't have an iPod already.

I think its a good idea for it to transfer random songs onto
it

I have a 20" imac G5 at the moment but i'm thinking about
how much money I could gain by selling and getting one of
the Mac mini's with a 17" screen... I reckon about
£300-400, not sure if its worth it.

damn, I always do this, I think I have an addiction with
swapping and changing my macs, I must have had about 5 over
the last 4 years!

I would rather have the G5, but actually anything would do,
cause my 5yr old G3 iMac is struggling to keep up with all
the swanky software :)

i do graphic design and apple is the standard computer used
and is for most 'creative' work.

Keep your G5!
The mini would be much too slow for graphic work. Look at
the Front side Bus.

It is nice though having something so compact and cheap.

Full comuter. Only has the G4 processor in it. Still very
good for the size and price.
