Yeah It is connected with the game, in the trailer they
called slaters character 'carnby' (The main guy from the
game)

It looks like Aliens vs. The mummy vs. resident evil

not the sort of film i like really.

Yep, the original AITD is generally credited as the first
survival horror game.
