i'm discovering them right now... got 'Boris At Last
-Feedbacker-' and 'Akuma No Uta' (in mp3 but i'm going to
order them very soon as they're both), very different, and
very awesome.

Feedbacker sounds a bit like an ever-evolving mix of
SunnO))) (a little bit), Godspeed You! Black Emperor (a
bit), and long rock instrumentals à la Pink Floyd or in the
genre of most "classic" indie rock long tracks...

Akuma No Uta is rocky and punky and something like that.

(and the guitarist is pretty! ♥)

i've heard they have a lot of different styles, sometimes
great, sometimes boring... any fans of them here?

i borrowed one cd which had i think one song that was about
60 min and it was very very boring.. what you're describing
sounds a lot better though,

I'm not too familiar with them but I like Boris' "Froggie
Bee-Baa" remix from the merzbow frog remixes album.

if they have drone music, i haven't heard it yet. i have
only heard the songs on their site, which don't exactly blow
me away.

i had better track down these albums you're talking about...

Akuma No Uta is a "song" album.
Feedbacker is not.
i've just heard samples from their 'drone' things but they
didn't grab my attention that much.

now it seems hard to play, slow and lags a lot by modern
standards...
