Planning to rent this soon... I rented Elf before Christmas
which was fantastic. It had a ridiculous premise, stock
characters and a silly plot. Will Ferrell skipped around in
tights acting like a delighted little girl for two hours. We
laughed ourselves silly.

Anchorman was a satisfying enough 90 minutes. Some letdowns
as far as the script though.

i hesitated on renting it the other day... But i didn't rent
anything at the end of the day. Just doesn't seem very
appealing.
