What the fuck is with bowling? I went with some old school-friendthings, and honest-to-god, i just don't see the attraction. Here is the rundown of the night: - The lights are set: Low (known as "starlight" bowling). - There is a policy of 80s school disco "hits". - I have discovered i really can't fucking bowl. At all. - The drinks are all űber-expensive. - They also have dodgems (although to be fair, this bit was utterly awesome). Anyway. Bowling. What's the deal? |

The shoes are the best part my man. Anyway, I finally went bowling and enjoyed it more than I thought, I had really bad memories of it and thought I'd still be pretty awful but it worked out okay. Plenty of gutterballs but there was a laugh had. More proof that an outgoing life really is the bee's knees. |

I like bowling, not too often but now and then. Its satisfying because the learning curve seems quite apparent, and its not hard to find people to have a reasonable game with. |

i don't mind 5 pin bowling, cause the ball is light enough that i can control it well and put spin on it and shit... but 10-pin sucks cause the balls are too damn big, and i almost always end up fucking up muscles in my wrist/hand/fingers... and yeah, neon-bowling music seems to be pretty goddamn terrible... here, it's less of the retro crap, and more of the disturbing vaguely club pop songs like that one "Woof Like a Dog", and fuckin' "I Wanna Suck On Your Lollipop"... can someone tell me more about this hard-house/super-chauvinist pop phenomenon? it confuses me to no end... |
