when i first heard this song i almost shit! i think it's Tom's nod to death metal, which i like also. some of the drum patterns in this song are unmistakably death metal, not the ones at the beginning, wich are in Tom's own style, but at about 1:30 they switch and start pounding in the death metal style. plus the guitar-like sounds. anyone else notice it?

I think the track is pure crap. it could've been a GREAT track if the track wasn't so poorly mixed. the synths just push the beats away. I know he did it on purpose to get that live sort of feel...but seriously....it sucks. and some of the blips and bleeps on ultravisitor just hurt my ears. I wish he would come with a proper "studio" version. but all the rest rules on ultravistor. I like the album ALLOT. but the whole live concept thing is the only negative thing I have to say about it.

Man, that's what I think makes it so original. I reckon clean production would have taken something away. The 'imperfections' are the essence IMO

i didn't like it or 'an arched pathway' until i heard/saw it live with the strobes. what a difference it makes to have the lights blinding you at the same rate as the music.

I love the begining, i love the end.. i love the fuck up's in the middle too but it's just that they go on for too long, he has an nice melody there towards the end and i think he could have used it more, perhaps built it up more carefully and slowly creating that classic squarepusher melody feel that he has in the track Ultravisitor and others..

One of my favorite tracks of last year. Its a piece of music that really feels like its pusher the boundries of the genre, mutant martian death metal.

I love that BIG ambient drone that envelops the chaos toward the end of the track.
