Chemical Brothers - Push the Button

offline Aesthetics from the IDM Kiosk on 2005-01-04 05:48 [#01444380]

it seems like the bros are losing their chemicals, this
release continues where the Golden Path ended

it reminded me also a bit of Fatboy Slim - Palookaville

nevertheless a great release!

don´t worry, it isn´t the same as Palookaville at all!

but somehow it reminded me about it...maybe because of the
instruments, I really don´t know why

WHAT A SHIT ALBUM. I REALLY HOPE THIS IS A GROWER!!!

there's not a single good track on this album..everything
sounds the same only different vocalists on every track
apperantly but appart from the colour of their voice there's
no difference. i would really love to see if they can make
the next album even shittier, because honestly i can't see
how.

offline Aesthetics from the IDM Kiosk on 2005-01-18 04:17 [#01464800]
Points: 6796 Status: Lurker

it is a grower for sure, but don´t play it more than 5
times in a week ;)
after a few times you will hear more differences between the
songs

I dislike Left Right very much tho

palookaville wasnt so bad, 'dont let the man get you down'
and 'the journey' were nice

I don´t agree at all!

most people around me listen to rado 3 here in Holland, the
last week I heard this record tooo fucking much because it
is the Megahit or something... the best way to destroy a
song imo

note that I don´t listen to the radio myself, but I do hear
it by coincidence, like when I visit someone or in the
car...and in those short moments I heard Galvanise for about
8 times this week!

great way to ruin a song!

more like straight pop dance if you ask me..which is not
necessarily a bad thing, but i'd never expect this sort of
crap from them :(

first heard it ["those strings ! sound faggin like 'come

to like it.
i'm gonna slsk the album, hopefully it's not as shit as some

i agree with the person who said the track "Left Right" is
shit because that is TRUE. what a shitty song, it disrupts
the entire album. and it's such an idiotic political
message, that really only tells people "We're Leftists" more
than anything else.
