I've been reading some books lately I can't get in the states, so usually I depend on ebay to get a good catch, but sometimes I get sick of the wait. Anyone have some good online stores (other than amazon.. or is amazon.co.uk actually really awesome?) they can recommend? Having used stock is essential I guess. I like science fiction, so some specialization could be cool, though price increase due to esoteritocaness sucks.

International postage costs for books is usually so high. The only I buy from is this used book community abebooks.com. This is the just different sellers from around the world, postage is different for each one so some are high but some have something like $7 for the first book and $1 for each book thereafter and many of the books themselves are only about $2 and they're perfect.

I see! it's sort of like gemm.com[c/o mappatazee] in that it is a front/database for a bunch of stores. Pretty sweet, thanks!
ebay is actually pretty good, just the wait can suck.

Yes I just nabbed 4 good books for $4 total (+ shipping, and the fucking dollar conversion may have tripled by then); ebay's the fucking way to do it.
If other people posted a lot in my topics, I wouldn't have to. go ahead, lavish me with insults.
