Kant said : Synthetic judgments, on the other hand, are those whose predicates are wholly distinct from their subjects, to which they must be shown to relate because of some real connection external to the concepts themselves. Hence, synthetic judgments are genuinely informative but require justification by reference to some outside principle.
Therefore VIDEOGAMES make you stupid. You need to discover the world through own "experiences" ...or what ?

THATS AN INTERESTING POINT, BUT IT MAY BE THAT YOU ARE GENERALIZING A BIT. I WOULD SAY VIDEO GAMES TEACH COORDINATION AND QUICK THINKING, BUT SINCE THEY OFFER IMMEDIATE SATISFACTION IN AN ARTIFICIAL ENVIRONMENT, ONE MIGHT BECOME LAZY FROM EXCESSIVE USE. BESIDES THEY ARE NO GOOD FOR YOUR EYES. I LOVE VIDEO GAMES.

"coordinate an quick thinking" yes maybe, but you also could take a walk in the park to "hone" these skills. Emotioanlly, videogames drain you off any creative energy, just like television.....I WANT YOUR SOOOULL !!!!

i dunno, i get lots of ideas from video games, i dont think they dissolve any sort of creative thinking, but you might lose motivation for creative projects. (laziness)
television is way worse in my opinion.

It has been said that Children that play video games "often" have a higher results than others at SchooL.... Which was a total surprise to me. I thaught it was the other way around. But no.

having high results on school dont mean being not-stupid. i believe the most intelligent people on school never are the ones with the better marks.
