This just in, I'm going to Europe in March for two weeks! Destinations are still pending, but Salzberg and Prague are confirmed! I have set foot in the USA, China and Japan but never have I set foot in Europe. Now I finally will! |

zeus: an advice, get loads of parmegiani & bring it back to the states... for europeans, the "europe" concept is... you know its made of very differents countries so when someone from the us says i'm going to europe for me, its like "i'm going to buy cd with MUSIC on it! (whether its death metal, classical, pop or breakcore...) salzburg & vienna are lovely cities...prague is really nice but with shitloads of tourists... |

Wow, Tolstoyed, that looks absolutely perfect! I've been wanting to visit Slovenia for a while........ .....is the whole city like that? I mean, here in Vilnius, the Old Town/centre is very beautiful, but the suburbs (where I live) are a bit depressing - old Soviet architecture: crumbling tower blocks, etc. Unfortunately, because of work, where I live, etc, I rarely have time to venture into the Old Town, so I spend most of my time surrounded by concrete. |

the old part is like that...the new part obviously isn't soviet architecture, but it's a bit depressing as well...i wouldn't want to live there anyway :) plaster, it's a bit awkward to walk around hometown taking pics :) and im not that good photographer either...i'll take a pic if i see something worth taking pics of though hehe. epohs, sounds good...i've never went 'through' alps that way before, but if the roads and view is as nice as in alps overhere and in france it should be awesome. actually it should be nicer - when there were no highways yet, my grandfather always had to go that way when he was going to france or switzerland, and he was telling me how cool some of the sights were, especially in austria...it's a shame i live that close to that and yet i haven't seen any of that so far :) |
