help me. I KNOW that it is possible to remove this icon and make sure it NEVER returns unless you want it to.
i can only 'cancel' this shit which only minimizes it back to the tray.
and no i'm not going to use mac or unix or anything.

Lil' more info might help.
What OS are you using (win98, win2k, winXP)? And, if you're using XP what service pack (if any)?
You could try FreeBSD. :p
