What do people realy think of SAW II?

i personally think its excellent. yes there are a couple
of not so good tracks, but it is an emotional journey of the
senses. It takes you from relaxation to tension, from
happiness to sadness. A truely classic collection of
tracks.

It just depends on opinion really, I love every track,
ofcourse some more than others but every track for me is
tops.

I love it, but it's not the sort of CD I listen to very
often. Takes the right sort of mood, and a few listens...

SAWII fucking is the best album RDJ put out. SO Very
different from all of his stuff. It is timeless! It is
brilliant! Every track on that album makes me want to go to
sleep and just dream the days away!

If I were to die and I was able to choose to bring with me,
I would choose my cd player & my SAWII!

I like it a lot, but if I ever want me ambient fix I usually
popup vletrmx21 or float.82

Reflex, you love SAW2?

I think it was one of the many Reflex clones that said he
found SAW2 to be really fucking boring... but I also saw you
praise it a few times... at least it cleared up now.

Thank god we don't have to deal with that crap anymore.
Someone even thought I was you, because of my... erm... many
posts... :-)

*I still believe that you & Reflex are the same people
Ophecks!*

no offense... just seems that way on a computer screen

you don't like chilled out, floating high in the sky,
acid-trip, mind-fock, disasta made souped-up depressed
ambient stuff made my the DJ MAESTRO RDJ?¿

I used to think SAW 85-92 was better... what was I fucking
thinking? SAW2 is on another level...

You're right, I'm Reflex. I'm also The_Funkmaster... notice
how we both use triple periods a lot...

Like we (well, ME, since I'm him) are trailing off... or we
can't finish our thoughts...

Nope. Gotta be honest, I can't stand ambient stuff. It's
alright in it's purpose but personally I stopped taking
Ecstacy and acid in a big way a few years ago (I only dabble
now) and that is the sort of head state I need to be in to
listen to that genre of music. Generally I like harder
stuff, which suits my personality - I'm hot tempered and
easily pissed off. When I want to chill out I put on some
classic rock stuff like Down

Ambient stuff has a large purpose, it "fills" a room better
than any music out there.

SAW II is classical music, I cant talk of one track because
i see it as a whole... here is where richard really amused
the musical world

it's great for background. You've got so many moments in
this record where you just think: "Whoa. That's deep!!"

I had an incident when I was listening to the album before I
went to bed and the music just flew into the atmosphere
where I just thought: "was there something moving, or is it
just the music?"

it's a shame that they omitted "Stone in Focus" for the CD
release though. It's one of the best.

And they omitted Hankie, which is also great.

that's the fourth on CD1, right?

I own the Rough Trade release, so Hankie is on this one :-)

I made a custom cd cover (the original with track titles)
for SAW2 about 1 year ago.

If you also would like to use it, get it here
(about 260 KB).

:-)
