anyone got it ?? i just bought myself a sounblaster external card but ableton only detects two of the five channels i got... please help !! |

I had a similar problem when Ableton could not detect the microphone in my disney princess karaoke boom box. Apparently Ableton isn't any good with tulip shaped microphones. |

Tulips shaped microphones are the greatest as well. The is a major oversight by the Ableton team. I will have to wait for the fix before I buy it now. |

ableton 4 and soundblaster live! 24bit usb external card - the newest drivers of course... native instruments traktor 2 detects 4 channels... |

So it is a 5.1 channel soundcard then? If that is the case you should be able to route sends etc. to the other channels, but it only allows the two master channels. |

Your monitor channel should be able to go to any of the other channels as well. |

You should be able to alter the channel grouping and bussing for the sends. I'm not quite sure what you are aiming for here. |

look - i got 3 outputs on my card 1. front 2. rear 3. center the center one is used on by a few aplications now i got it that far, that for example in traktor 2 from the 1. front output comes my master channel, what is being mixed and from the 2. rear channel only what is ceued... i want to make exactly the same in ableton - having a preview function where i can prelisten to the samples on my headphones before tossing them in |
