Oh

american conservative bloggers vs. liberal/canadians

now before some of you get upset realize i haven't taken any
sides. i just thought i'd post this up to hear some
canadians defend themselves toward these criticism, or at
least give some insight as to how things are runned over
there. i admit this is even a little bit extreme for an
american conservative's pov.

ohh i see.

like i prefer 'colder' weather as well. but more like fall
and spring weather conditions. winter is too harsh.. so is
summer.

i dunno. i like comfort.

i'm just bitter because i tried to go running, wearing TONS
of clothes and gortex jacket and gloves.. and i almost died.
haha.. now i'm gonna get fat because i'm trapped in my
house. i wish i was a bear. then i could be fat and
hybernating. mmm

i dislike winter because it limits the amount of time i can
spend outside (and even when you're outside, you always have
to be protected by a "mini-inside" consisting of too many
layers of clothing)... and being inside sucks.

50% as much corruption, 100% less drama and about 85% less
christian fundamentalists.

No... we actually pay attention to what most of or
politicians, instead of only remembering what they have done
in the past week and forgetting everything else.

The christian fundamentalists don't really make it very far
here. Everyone thinks they are scary. That is because they
are scary.

Canadian politicians refrain from using emotional overtures
during debates, and don't fill the media with nice catch
phrases like "flip-flopping" and the like to lure people
over to their side. Normally. Pierre trudeau did stick up
his middle finger at a crowd of western canadians cause he
didn't like them, and that was kinda dramatic, but not in
the scary god-fearing jihad kinda way that bush is.

There is still a fair ammount of corruption here, but
usually it all comes out in the wash, and the politicians
usually end up being held accountable in some way or
another. Not like oil barons who start wars in other
countries to raise the cost of oil so they and their friends
can make more money.
