well they aren't sorely missed this end. I just remember a coupla years back, shortly before Zeus joined (not saying HE had anything to do with the decline, it's just a chronological reference point!), this site had hit a golden period. |

you may very well be right. i'm not an oldschool member here or anything. but, i've been hanging out on several messageboards for around 5 years i guess now, and it seems like people are always making the point that things now aren't as good as they were in the olden days... regardless of how long ago the golden period was. it all seems either completely arbitrary, or directly related to when the first started becoming active. the same thing happens in big organizations. i'm a member of fraternity, and guys are forever talking about how the group is going downhill. the new members aren't the same quality as the "old" members. the same thing happens in life in general. kids these days have no respect. i think it's just burnout.... the loss of the newness of a situation. |
