what do you think?

i hate categorizing. therefore, i dislike naming of "break
core" too. i don't want to create tracks to which i was
caught by genres.

isn't breakcore another name for artists that try too hard
to be... 'hard' ?

It's like drum and bass for ex or current metal fans.
Replaces menace with noise. Not very good in general.

Unless you are referring to one of your tracks in which case
I haven't got a fucking clue.

I am sure everyone in here has progressed somewhat to what
they listen to now, for me electronic music just souded
better when it was faster and darker, I embraced dnb back in
the day ad said fuck hardcore because of the monotony but
now the union of breaks and the 4/4 element of
hardcore/gabba is quite complex and interesting to listen
to. I like good sounding stuff though not all that distorted
shit. the stuuf that sounds no better if you were listening
to it with a pair of broken headphones- a expensive stereo
setup

It's tough to say - what will happen to Breakcore....

VSnares is really the king of the genre when he's
concentrating on it. There are some wicked tracks out there
though - Drop the Lime is pretty excellent.

There's a night in town called Altered Beats that showcases
some of the best breakcore talent. I went to the Enduser
one is was pretty good. DJ Fishead can turn a party out.

i don't think it's a passing trend, i think it's on the
rise. there's a lot of breakcore artists gaining popularity
now, little scenes for it are happening... people are
saying it's just catching on.

and no, music that you don't like doesn't go into the
arbitrary pile of "noise". noise and breakcore are totally
different.
