i'm listening to boards of canada - from one source all
things depend and it got me question myself about destiny.
what do you ppl think...do our actions really affect the
future outcome or is it all random?

it's so weird...

there is no such thing as random. it is only a word to
define outcomes incomprehendable to the human mind

true...it's interresting how humanity has the need to
categorise everything.
if something is out of reach, ether is deadly or bad.

whele i guess there are some things that are meant to
be/happen, but there are plenty we can affect on...otherwise
it would be just too easy :-)

Speaking of groups that don't like to do interviews, how is

Boards of Canada?

Andy: I don’t really know them so
well, I met them a couple of
times

Ed: They just like to spend their time in
the studio.

Andy: Yeah you get much more publicity by
not doing publicity.
Yeah their album is pretty good. They took
3 years on it, and
it shows, and it’s beautifully
mixed.

Do you guys like that kind of music?

Andy: Yeah I do you know. I have
reservations about that album
personally… it’s not the kind
of album we would do but I like
tracks from it.

Ed: It’s starting to grow on me
actually, the more I hear it.
It’s one of those weird ones because
I listened to it on the
bus the other day.

Andy: Yeah I’ve listened to it a few
times, and I’m not
smoking this year. I think if I were a
smoker I would like it.
But you know there is not enough dynamic
in it for me at the
moment and I don’t think we would
release an album like that
in terms of emotions.

Yeah it has a lot of hidden messages.

Andy: Yeah that’s what they like to
make you believe *laughs.*
No, I’m sure there are signs.

Ed: yeah like the front cover.

Andy: There is a lot of 666 kind of stuff
going on with it.

It’s cool though since the fans are
getting something out of
it.

Andy: It’s an angle that makes it a
little more interesting,
and it means you have to think about
everything.

Yeah, when I listen to that al

PArt 2

Yeah, when I listen to that album, I really need to hear
everything that is said. With Plaid, it
can be more relaxed
and not so focused on every aspect of it.

Andy: You don’t know what’s
going really deep under there. We
hide it much better you know…

Ed: It’s the next level!

Andy: Yeah, it’s the next level of
twistedness…

I believe in Radio Destiny, 95.4 FM, playing all the best
bluegrass the world has to offer.

It's all random, and up to me. Although I guess there's
small bits of destiny scattered around haphazardly. Being
born without a face or being born a heiress are pretty
indicative of what your life is going to be like. But even
then, you can salvage/sabotage at your leisure.

years.

Still random. You can find your own way and be somewhat in
control, but you can't help being brutally maimed because
you took too long putting on your sneakers before going out,
and got nailed by a drunk driver that would have missed you
if you were a little quicker tying the laces. But that's not
destiny, just dumb random luck. A million other things could
have happened.

Or WAS it destiny? Who the fuck knows. Very easy to rant
yourself into a corner with this stuff...

yes, i agree...but there is still this one tangen out of
million other possibillities in which you happeed to got in
and it goes by it's route.
well atleast i think like that...maybe it's just the way of
percieving.

as you know we only see 180 degrees.
