I just got lp5, awesome. Ep7 and Chiastic Slide rock out too. So does Tri Repetae++ (sp?) Everything of theirs kicks ass, I find amber a little dull compared to their other stuff, but I prefer beats. 2nd song on Amber kicks though. The last song off the japanese Confield, that live recording, blows my mind. |

I enjoy EP7 the most. I went for like 5 months w/out listening to it, coz I listened to it SOO much, I JUST PUT IT BACK IN MY CD PLAYER on SUNDAY!!! :) *i an enjoying my 15 points! |

Amber make me fly... I'd like to listen it with my headphones, I close my eyes and I fly to discover the misteries of the universe. It's like a soundtrack of Morricone, it could be the soundtrack for a movie like "the highlander". This album has incredible melodies, sometime when I listen songs like Piezo, Foil, Teartear, Silverside, I shriver... Another song who give me the same "Amber" feeling come from INCUNABULA and the name is "444". At 2'20" start a melody who drive me crazy. Autechre's old album are amazing! WooÆ’er |

I dont think I prefer old autechre to new... its just an evolutive sound... I enjoy it listening both old a new and seeing how they have been reinventing their sound with each release. but of course I love Amber too... is very ambient... better said is an ambient masterpiece. you dont ever talk about incunabula and i like it a lot too. autechre is one of my favs |

oh tought one... i think LP5 coz its more of an album... hence the LP and not EP... i dunno, its like there isnt 1 bad song on LP5 and i think theres a couple bad tracks on EP7 |
