favorite album they have done....

I like All I need, as well as Le Femme D'Argent quite a bit,
and a lot of stuff on 10 000 Hz legend.

their last album was kind of a let down to me, really. few
good songs on it, but not as intricate as i thought it would
be

le femme d'argant is one of my favourite tracks of all time
unfortunatly i bought their album after hearing only that
song, and was dissapointed.. although i do like a few songs
one it (under half).. many i did not
some of their stuff sounds way too cheesy

i dont really like their oldest stuff. i thought moon safari
was a bit hermetic or whatever. like that "sexy boy" song i
kept hearing all over the place. nothing refined. i really
like 10 000 hz legend. its one hell of a sexy and
sophiticated album. their best in my opinion

They had an amazing live concert that you used to be able to
listen to in RA in Los Angeles performing the Virgin
Suicides soundtrack. It was ten times better than the album
and featured extended jams from Moon Safari too with Marky
"Nishita" Mark (from Beastie Boys and his own solo fame) on
keyboards. The capture real authentic retro 70's keyboard
sounds like no other band, save maybe Beck. They recorded
the strings for Moon Safari at the Beatles old Abbey Road
studios, like Pink Floyd used to do, creating some really
cool old school psychadelic sounds.
