What do you think of this large genre of music? Which do
you like? I personally enjoy:

/Nine Inch Nails
/The Shizit
/Lustmord
/The Revolting Cocks
/Strapping Young Lad
/OhGr
/Download
/Skinny Puppy
/Dope

Although some of these are in sub-genres of Industrial, they
still are, or have some aspects that make them industrial.
Such as Lustmord which you could say is Ambient Industrial,
or Dope or OhGr which is metal/rock industrial.

i dunno man, industrial is just so stuck in the 80s... if it
did progress its not called industrial anymore.

Not really... it has progressed, you just need to be able to
get into it. Its also what you want, Drill N' Bass is over
done and out played. That ofcourse is just my opinion on it.
With music it cant be out with the old in with the new. And
hey, I liked the 80's.

hm, i suppose industrial does still exist, theres just a
lack of quality industrial acts... strapping is more metal
now and devin townsend i'd say is just heavy rock, nin could
have inspired it again by writing another downward spiral,
but thankfully he wrote something 10 times better in the
fragile... i just think theres no one really decent playing
industrial... and yes it was good in the 80s, im not denying
that its shit coz its 80s you know

Yes I understand. regardless.... hm.... it is true the
Industrial... well scene doesnt really exist all too much,
which is a shame, its some really interesting stuff Id say.

Townsend yeah... he really just lost it and went off to
something else...

ocean machine and terria is pretty sweet tho, not into the
heavier stuff tho...

you never know i think industrial is just waiting for 1 mind
blowing act too set it off again... history always repeats.

True again. I want it to happen, someone has to come a long
and blow it out. NIN took its fans with them, which is good
too. Iam a huge fan of NIN and iam happy with the directin
Reznor went it. Artistic as well. Someone.....

Reznor is a genius, a little dark but nonetheless, a musical
genius... you should hand out at the nin.com boards sometime
hehe :)

and if you do, go in the green room, stay away from the
rest

vive la green!
