when yuo enter skam's webpage, and press the third thing
(up right) and get to artist streams and stuff there's a
track playing when you enter and it sounds very much like
brothomstates. hmmm

sounds more like jega

the synth on the beginning is the exactly same synth as
brothomstates uses in the track Vleade, track 5 on Qtio. the
melody is and the beat alos is pretty similar. but afther
some time some funky elements joins, which is not typically
brothom.. just wanted to mention.

anyhow: you know which jega track this is? if released
though.

i don't know, it sounds very familiar. i don't like
brothomstates though so i'm not sure what track you're
talking about of theirs

I think it was Netlon Sentinel (or at least a Dutchie) who
asked about this exact same thing a few years back.

he mailed Skam about it and I do think he got an answer. I
can't remember it being Jega, then again - I can't remember
the answer!

sadly the search only goes back to beginning of this year.
:(

it sure as hell isn't brothomstates though, it's (quite
obviously) a Skam-artist.

ADOZENADAY

i bought skam's entire discography of releases (probably
like $3500 for 4 of the god damn songs) for that website
music, and none of that shit is fucking released or ever
will be released. i think it's mostly autechre. but don't
worry, i emailed skam a while back asking them about it and
totally got snubbed. :/ ooh, we have to be mysterious.

i don't know what track you're talking about on the site
though because i am a web navigationing mess, but i really
doubt anything on there has anything to do with
brothomstates.

website was really what got me interested in the first place
(and the cd i made from the website sounds like shit!). ah
well, you can't have everything i guess.

doesn't sound anything like brothomstates to me, unless i'm
on the wrong page. green website, top left square?

offline oyvinto on 2004-12-17 12:44 [#01429023]

up right i said. and it sounds like bstates-vleada, from the
ep qtio. very much so.

don't you mean adozenaday?

offline oyvinto on 2004-12-17 12:53 [#01429056]
Points: 8197 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

possibly. i might have misunderstood the cover layout. i
don't have the mp3's. i actually think the fifth track is
vleada.

Qtio. Jak Got Stuck In Canada And This
Sounds Like. Loose Fit. Vleada. Adozenaday
Brothomstates Vs Bill Yard

As i understand, the dot's separate the tracknames.

nr. 5 is indeed "adozenaday".

but only the percussion in that Skam-track reminds me of
that track.

i didn't think so, but the way you had it totaled i thought
maybe. it'd be sweet to buy a whole label's discography and
listen to it in the order it all came out.
