Well, after tons of electronic music listened I can say that music was much better time ago.
Especially first years of 90's are my favourites... analogue music, with those beautiful synths was great, now I find electronic music much more cold and less emotional.
Too much drill'n'bass and glitch imo.
Saw85-92, Amber, Incunabula, Surfing on Sine Waves, SabresonicII (The Sabres of Paradise), Joyrex series, Frequencies (LFO), Future sound of London 90's releases, etc... are just some example of really good music.
Now I'm thinking to collect all releases of wonderful first half of 90's...

honestly i was speaking about "electronic music", anyway other music was good too, I can't forget Pearl Jam (ten), Rage Against the Machine (1st album), Soundgarden (Superunknown), etc...
anyway I'd prefer to speak about electronic music in this topic

don't you think electronic music of last years is a little bit boring and very similiar? don't you find it's too much cold and not emotional? don't you think all artists seems able to create 'glitch' and 'drill'n'bass' sounds? aren't you bore from last releases? it seems it's very difficult to find really good electronic music in the last periods imo.
maybe this is the reason why rephlex and aphex are trying to back to analogue music...

Yeah the term Electronica is from the 90's. I don't like that term too much. It sounds too new age, and strange.
