Today I discovered the beautiful "Haunted Dancehall"
listened in Cafè del Mar Vol. Dos is by Sabres of Paradise.
I love that song and I like also track included in the warp
vision dvd.
What you think about Sabres of Paradise? Are the albums good
too?

\/\/.

Sabresonic was my introduction to Warp, and is an excellent
slice of dubby techno. The Haunted Dancehall album is pretty
damn good too, and is more a dubby breakbeat affair
(probably due to the triphop craze that reigned at the
time). A remix thingie, "Versus" has a very good remix by
LFO with a sub-bass that's out of this world, and a In the
Nursery version that's stunning to say the least. They also
had a sort of compilation of Sabresonic-era material, and
it's allright but not as solid as the other too.

Go get 'Sabresonic and Haunted Dancehall!

I found this remix EP you speak of in a bargain bin at a
record store over the summer. I wasn't really all that
impressed. It had some pretty kickass tunes but I remember
them being a bit lackluster and repetetive by today's
standards.

I've wanted to buy the full length for some time though..
