I have to say i'm absolutely shocked these people have put
this amount of effort into this website, can't people have
differing opinions on religion any more?

"We do need to be aware of what these books are about. They
are not just harmless stories; they are direct attacks on
God, the church, and the truth of the Bible's message."

Yikes. My mum works at a very christian school (she
hates it)... one of the kids was actually sent home
last week for talking about harry potter. It's all "the
occult" to the crazies who run the place.

this one got me laughing quite a bit:

"Pullman paints an equally misleading and dishonest picture
of the church. The church does not condone murder and
torture."

aren't right wing Christians a large reason as to why Bush
became re-elected?

Sad.

I read the first two books. Maybe I will someday read the
others, I don't know, there is too much else to read I
think.

Kate Bush needs to go round and slap some sense into them.

there is only one more book 'The Amber Spyglass' if you've
read the other two you should read this one, its probably
the best out of the three.
