...buy records without ever listening to them or hearing about them, just because you like the front cover?
i've did this a few times recently, and i dont have my turntables working yet......
anyone heard them?
i got....Patrick Wolf - Lycanthropy, Scout Niblett - I am and Pan-American - The river made no sound

yeah, i bought some really old, cheap thrift store records for their art... but eventually, i get the urge to hear what they sound like. so i usually wind up listening to all of them.

Only if they're really cheap. I've found some great music this way though.

I have bought records without hearing them (but mostly hearing about them), never just because of the cover.

usually when a cover attracts me at the shop, i try to scan it to listen to it... which works like 20% of the time, so i try to remember the name to search for sound samples when i'll be home... and i forget it 80% of the time.
