I want a list of the very fans of CW! I already know that
reflex is quite a fan of it, but who else is more in is old
stuff and why??

I like the uniformity (is that a word?) and more
acid-sounding samples of CW.

I fucking love Caustic Window

Everytime my neighbour has a party and I'm in listening to
music, that's the first thing I combat the noise with

many people think it is boring crap...
at first i thought it was nothing compared to the energy of
the tracks but now i bought the cd n listen with good ears i
can hear subtle variations in nearly all snares n sounds...
like he tweak a knob every step... my favs are : afx dub,
joyrex j5, garden of linmiri, HMNE

joyrex j9 is 1 of my favs. i bought it on vinyl near when it
first came out and thats what got me into Aphex and other
IDM. his old stuff is just soo raw and abrasive and thats
what i luv. does any like the Universal Indicator ep's?
thats the most purest hardcore acid i've heard. it's evil
:)
i got the red TR-606 EP and blue TB-303 EP but i think the
TR-606 EP is best

GAK 2 , is one of my all time aphex favorite, I love puttin
my headphone n only listening to the noises miced up in the
background thinking it's rdj recording himself mixing the
song... its weird!

i meant Joyrex J4 not J9. J4 is my fav. the Tr-606 EP i have
on vinyl says LTD 1500 scratched in the vinyl round the
label so i think it's pretty rare. I was lucky to get it cuz
i never saw it in any shops. i swapped it with a mate for an
old Acid House Album called House Hallucinates. was well
good swap.

i wish there was people still doing acid trax thats was just
pure TB-303's and a drum machine. i'll never get bored of
the sound of a real 303. i can't get enough of it. Theres
only Plastikman and Hardfloor that i know of that still do
old skool acid :(

haven't heard much of ceephax except for a remix that he did
on a Squarepusher album. Is it true that he is Tom
Jenkinsons (SP) brother?

Yep, I wish there was more use of the good old 303 going
on...I was thinking about it this morning on the way to
wrok, listening to the Drillly tracks on Drukqs - theres a
lot of 303 & 101 stuff in there...but he seems to be taking
it in a newer direction with lots of cutups & stretching of
the tones themselves; treating them in a similar way to
breaks etc...
