The weekly poll topic this week is rather interesting,.. however my response would not fit in to either of the answers given,.. so here's my opinion this fictive brandance websiteâ„¢ shouldn't replace aphextwin.nu,.. but instead be a totally unique site that runs parallel to aphextwin.nu,.. I think that this is what should happen,.. More Aphextwin.nu Autechre.nu sites should be done in the smae style and quality of the ones already made,. just for different IDM artists as well,.. (these site would only have the basic "fan art/music" "forum" and "releases" sections, until more could be done) and then when you have a whole ring of sites that have (at least) basic knowledge on the many artists,.. make one big site that covers everything IDM,.. with each individual site being a "sub" topic within the huge IDM community,.. I know It's thinking a little big but I think that the best artist site on the net can still get even better |

OK - I need to quit my job first... People, the reason for creating a general idm-site is that I don't have time to maintain all sites. (I'm running a few non-music-related websites as well). Quality matters. |

personally i like the idea of a single idm site. i'd like to get to know more bands from the genre. but at least maintain THIS board, and not the autechre.nu board. this one's better. |

i think that the current idm sites should be kept, but instead have a huge site that shows information on release, live acts and forthcoming albums etc, the site could then have links to all the idm sites currently going. I think this would be a good idea, although having time to make, maintain and update would need some one to work on it all the time, then there would be crappy banners on it. |

F*uk getting paid,... Phobia probably does it and gets nothing out of it,.. why should we? I think people should be volunteering,.. not employing,.... maybe assigning one or two people to each artist? I dunno but I think it could work |
