When the company that "owns" the factory closed down the factory due to high costs, the workers continued to come to work and operate the factory. They established a democratic worker run business where each worker has an equal say in the running of the factory and have increased productivity, raised employment, and given back to the community. Now that the operation under the workers has become successful, the "owners" want to take control back, especially where revenue is concerned.
