the new nas album is cool. download it. it has a pop-vibe compared to illmatic, but the piano melodies are beautiful and the drums are phat.

It's very good in parts but a bit shit in others...why do people insist on double albums when a 1 disc effort of the best material would probably be considered a classic? (The second disk could be given as a collection of out takes instead of trying to put them in the middle of good tracks)

the people who really DIG his stuff will be happy about a double-album. who cares about the critics.
i don't know all god's son tracks. but as far as i know them I would say it's definetly better.

The production is fucking shit on some tracks though. He has a fucking excellent flow and the backing track lets it down.

which tracks do you consider produced shit?
i didnt get the album on vinyl yet, only mp3. so i always listened to it while i was on the computer and most of the time did something else besides.
