Anyone here a fan of his movies? I only heard about him
because Tarkovski's favourite film is by him.

Bresson

those two films are out in the uk now, thinking of getting
both, shame dvd's are still so expensive, do they actually
cost anymore than VHS to make?

I rented the vhs from the library a few weeks but didn't get
around to watching it, looking forward to seeing it, wish it
was on dvd though.

I haven't seen any Bergman yet either.

yeah, ive seen that site a few times, theres a good
comparison between Stalker and the chernobyl disaster that
happened 7 years later, and it being a sort of prophecy

I love Bresson, he has a minimalist style. I highly
recommend A Man Escaped, Mouchette, and A Gentle Woman.
They're all very subtle masterpieces.

I haven't seen Au Hazard Balthazar, which a lot of people
consider his masterpiece. :|
