I was drinkin' with a coupla buddies and someone called the cops, which resulted in a police chase. I outran the cops for about 10 minutes, and as I looked back I saw cops leaping for me (one was out of action with a back injury). Finally, I got tired so stopped and they piled on and one punched me on the ear and they set a police dog on me. |

very nice. thanks for sharing those. i find it wierd how recently both my parents have gotten ahold of old super8 film of them as babies/children etc, yet there is certainly no film or video of me and my brother as children and very few pictures. maybe it is because being able to make your own films of your family was somewhat novel back then (50s or whatever). i havnt seen any pictures of my parents older then like 15 though, well maybe ive seen 1 of each of them when they were around 20. but do any of your parents have films of them as infants/children yet they didnt make any similar record of yourselves? i think it was an era/timeframe thing because my mom grew up in australia and my dad in canada yet they both have all these films. maybe that part is not wierd, and it just that their generation didnt record things the same way, oh well its not like i would want crappy vhs tapes of me as a child. (note that almost all old home 8mm film is nice and pretty and outside, yet any time you home video from some time ago it is crappy and low light and inside and very 'home movie' looking. its like the light requirements of film were such that it forced it to atleast look nice, where as people would just use a video camera inside or whatever) |
