it means that to either speed up requests to the page, or
reduce server load, a "cache" or "proxy" is put in front of
the actual web server which caches pages.

downside is static pages tend to stay in the cache, even
when new content is added. i saw the page update when I
added a ? to the end of the URL, which with most proxy
software, indicates that the page is dynamic.

that theory doesn't work though unless the proxy was just
caching it for my IP only. no transparent proxy my side, i
think.

either way, who cares, getting the mp3's now :)
