venice is very mellow

but i like it

also theres some strange title ~ 34'23''23° 45'23''53°

thats not the actual title, but something with geographical
coordinates

plus forty seven degrees 56'37'' minus sixteen degrees
51'08''?

i have that, but it's not in my playlist too often..infact
it's never in my playlist :)

i've got that one and it's the same story with me.

i thought venice was ok, as a few nice tunes but i liked
mirages more. tim hecker is good. i think i like all the
tracks.

I think venice is pretty good. It's a bit more accessible
than his others, but also better IMO.

rivers of sand, circassian and the point of it all were ok.
i wouldn't say it's bad though. and yeah, it has a nice
cover :).

yeah Venice has some great tracks, but it ultimately hasn't
lasted for me... Field Recordings is very nice though...
probably my favourite solo album (if you can call it that)
of his...

I thought Venice was nice. My favourite is probably
Hotel Paral.lel, though. Very different from
Endless Summer and all, but Awesome nonetheless.

babbling about improv in general thread

although you said you liked melody... well actually a lot of
the stuff i've mentioned in there so far is pretty
melodic... i'm determined (probably to the point of being
annoying)

Hotel Parel.lel is aces. More "noisy" than endless summer. I
haven't got venice yet, so i couldn't possibly comment.

Tolstoyed is right about tim hecker though. He's, like, well
good.

Did anyone ever end up hearing any of this stuff after? (in
particular, i'm curious about the photo/music release)

... oh yeah, and by the way people should try to find the
live set of Tim Hecker playing with Oren Ambarchi at
Victoriaville on SLSK... i haven't heard it, but i'm sure
it's quite nice....

Not a clue, man. I know i've not heard either of them yet,
and that's about all i know. The link seems broken for the
second release in that thread too.
