Super Power Moments

Let's discuss Super Power Moments. Some songs have them,
Aphex Twin has them the most. A Super Power Moment is a part
of the song that makes you feel like you can lift trees and
buildings out of the earth with ease!

Some examples of holy moments are

Aphex Twin - Vordhosbn (1:12 - 1:59)
The way the song lets you cool down after this part is
golden.

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker (4:53 - End)
This is my favorite Super Power Moment. It really needs no
introduction as I'm sure if you like Windowlicker, its your
favorite part. I can definately do amazing feats when this
part of the song comes up. A true Super Power Moment.

Post any other Super Power Moments you've come across.

Aphex Twin - Meltphace6 (?:?? -?:??)
There is a bit in this track that is my all time favourite
bit of any track ever.

When the organ comes in and those little high frequency
harmonies are going off?

Some more.

Aphex Twin - Carn Marth (1:15 - End)
That beat is not to be fucked with. And the cheeky melody
just keeps risin' and risin'. This gives me super walking
power when I'm doin the whole mobile thing with headphones.

Autechre - Pen Expers (2:39 - 5:30)
When the melody becomes clear it gives me a rush.

Autechre - 61e.CR (2:50 - 4:35)
That quasi-piano in the background blows my mind. Its
fucking emotional as hell. Draft was the first ae I had
heard, so when I bought the album and it got to this part I
was livid, especially because my friend forgot his bong at
my place and I smoked a retarded bowl before opening the cd
wrapping and popping it in.

Nasty Habits: Shadowboxing (?:??)
The breakdown, where one note in the bassline gets lifted
and makes the track sound even more evil.

Ed Rush & Nico: Proton off Torque Compilation (?:??)
When the Amen and bassline kicks in. Almost like
Transformers, when many robots combine to make a big badass
Transformer.

Caustic Window: The Garden of Linmiri (4:03-End)
When the beat gets changed. Oh man!

AFX: Mangle 11 (?:??)
The section after the strings breakdown.

Ed Rush and Optical: Bacteria when the beat first comes it.

Actually there are a lot of power moments in drum and bass
that I love.

The eventual coming of the drums at the end of Son of a Gun
by cLOUDDEAD is kind of nice.

ladies and gentlemen, we're certainly delighted to be here
today, id like to start of my portion of the show, by giving
you a tast of a little something we call... rockin soul
music" it goes off...always makes me feel like a million
bucks.
