Have you all forgotten Thelonious Monk? It's virtually impossible to pick one of his albums as a favorite, but Genius of modern music vol 1 & 2, Live at the It Club, Live at the Five Spot discovery! and Monk's Dream are extremely good albums. Right now I have the best kicks wit the brilliant box set |

I love that album too - Much of the credit for it must go to the producer Teo Maceo, who also produced a lot of Monk's albums. |
