You could also mention tracks you really hate, or anything at all! Just as long as you feel that you need to mention them, this thread is for you.
I'm mentioning Usher, because he's pretty bad, but I haven't heard his music in ages, so that's OK... Usher!

you don't know the half of it. there was something rather discerning about my parents telling me that jimmy krankie, one half of the entertainment (i used this term loosely) act from the 80s "the krankies" was in fact the other one's wife. err, what? it's a small boy. no, its his wife. errrr. errrr. can we watch the other side please?

Cool topic. I added a lot of those mentioned to my SLSK wishlist, maybe I'll get to hear them before Christmas... 2005.
The Comsat Angels- Eye of the Lens- great drum sound, mildly Goth post rock... just awesome. Blows me away, that drum sound.
Rapoon- Endings in Rain- beautiful alien ambient track with some wicked... rain sounds. Very soggy tune.
Boxhead- Telegraph Hill- likewise, except replace rain with wind.
Artist- The Beatles. They were a skiffle group that eventually branched out a bit. I recommend Strawberry Fields Forever. Sounds like Radiohead and has Can-like percussion at the end. Good influences.
